Your student rights under the  U.S. Constitution do not stop at the school house door ,Lift Jesus Higher, New issue of The Wave

Across the United States there are acts of violence and people are saying that school shootings are to blame on God being removed from schools. That is a lie.
The fact of the matter is that God has never been removed from schools, at least not in the State of Louisiana. It's the people that choose not to bring God into the school.
Yes, It's the people who are failing to bring God into the schools with them. Many do not even go to church, a large amount know very little of God and probably wouldn't know if something were Godly if they bumped into it.
Albeit that some schools want to play boss, want to create their own set of rules, want to forget that the main reason for the schools is for the students , albeit that some schools have attitudes -- the United States Constitution and your child's rights do not stop at the door of the school.
Attorney General Jeff Landry and Congressman Mike Johnson have just jointly released a 15 page booklet of student right titled Louisiana Student Rights Review.

An introduction from Jeff Landry, Attorney General , and Congressman Mike Johnson states: "
For almost a century, the United States Supreme Court has repeatedly affirmed that neither students nor teachers “shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate.”1 Yet, there remains widespread confusion across our nation, and here in Louisiana, regarding the practical application of those rights in public schools.
The right to religious expression, in particular, has been increasingly challenged and misunderstood in recent years, and many people have been led to believe our elementary and secondary schools must be “religion-free” zones. To the contrary, both federal and state laws specifically protect religious freedom rights in public schools. Thankfully, Congress and our state legislature still recognize the fundamental importance of religious liberty—the first freedom listed in the Constitution’s Bill of Rights. ".

Thereby, tell the arrogant teacher that tells you no during recess, or the extreme left person that doesn't like to hear anything about God that you are within your Constitutional Rights, that you have every right to bring a bible on campus or discuss Jesus during recess because the Constitution of our great nation gives us the right to religious freedom.
